Davis leads New Orleans past San Antonio 97-90

Anthony Davis had 22 points, 12 rebounds to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to a 97-90 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.

Ryan Anderson scored 22 points for New Orleans, and Jrue Holiday added 15 points and seven assists. New Orleans scored 20 points off 17 San Antonio turnovers. And the Pelicans gave the Spurs its sixth loss in seven games.

Spurs had lost nine games in December, the worst single month record since April in 1997.

Tim Duncan had 20 points and 11 rebounds for the Spurs.
