One killed, four injured in landslide in BiH

One woman was killed, four others slightly injured on Monday after a landslide wiped out three residential buildings in a village in Kakanj, near Sarajevo.

Local civil authorities evacuated families near the landslide, officials said. The landslide happened in early morning hours Sunday, trapping villagers inside their houses, with a 38-year-old woman killed.

"It seems to us like Doomsday," recalled one villager who had saw the horror.

Local authorities and the Red Cross of the Kakanj Municipality provided villagers with hot drinks, food, sponges and blankets. Other humanitarian organizations also sent their volunteers to the affected village.
