大千世界:罕见狮虎兽宝宝 宁波首亮相

Five-month-old baby liger Xinle (happy heart) plays at Ningbo Youngor Zoo in East China's Zhejiang province, Jan 17, 2012. As a rare hybrid offspring of a male lion and a female tiger, Xinle has the head and tail of a tiger and the body of a lion. Although tigers and lions may cross-breed, the chance of a successful pregnancy is only 1 to 2 percent, and the survival rate for a baby liger is just one out of half a million. It's estimated that there are only 20 ligers alive in the world.

2012年1月17日，五个月大的狮虎兽心乐正在浙江宁波雅戈尔动物园的兽舍内玩耍。心乐是一只公狮子和母老虎繁衍的后代，它有着老虎的脑袋和尾巴，狮子的身体。虽然老虎和狮子可以交配，但成功受孕的几率只有1%到2%，而小狮虎兽成活的几率只有五十万分之一，全世界只有20只狮虎兽。
